10 WIDMER STREET - 56 STOREYS IN PRE-CONSTRUCION
10 Widmer Street is a new condominium development currently in pre-construction at 8-20 Widmer Street in downtown Toronto, Ontario by Claireville Holdings Limited. It is a proposed 56-storey residential tower designed by Scott Shield Architects with a total of 583 dwelling units and 227 vehicular parking spaces.
10 Widmer Street Condos is located in the Entertainment District of Toronto between Adelaide Street West and King Street West. This new residential proposal is for the construction of a 56 storey (174.3 metres in height) building which will include six existing townhouses located from 10-20 Widmer Street that are listed in the City's Heritage Register. The base of the tower will consists of the 3-storey townhomes (11.5 metres in height) which will be for residential units and include rear yard terraces on the third floor. The remaining tower base will be 6-storeys in height with differing setbacks from the property line. Of the 583 total residential suite proposed, 105 will be studio units, 206 will be one-bedroom units, 212 will be two-bedroom units and 60 will be three-bedroom units. Total residential gross floor area is 35,973 square metres. Total proposed vehicular parking is 227 in 5 levels of underground parking garage with no proposed parking for residential visitors. Total bicycle parking proposed is 583 spaces. There are also 1,689 square metres of indoor amenity space proposed on the second, third, sixth and seventh floors and 668 square metre of outdoor amenity spaces proposed on the sixth and seventh floors.
10 Widmer is designed by Scott Shield Architects which is an architectural firm that was founded in Canada about 35 years ago. They are an award-winning planning, architecture and design firm headquartered in Toronto and Los Angeles with projects across North America.
